Madeline has been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for 10 years. Prior to opening Clear Perspectives in 2021, she accumulated a variety of experience including working in both inpatient and outpatient settings at the St. Vincent Stress Center (where she maintains on staff), serving as the medication provider for the DePauw University Counseling Center and managing those with co-occurring substance abuse diagnoses.

She is certified in the treatment of Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International as well as Reflective Practices Mentoring which broadens her scope of practice.  She has additional training through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute with a goal to go beyond symptom reduction and reach a state of wellness.

Madeline completed her undergraduate education at DePauw University before pursuing her graduate nursing degree at Vanderbilt University. She is a member of Coalition of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI) and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).

She believes that mental health symptoms rarely exist in a vacuum and loves to work with entire families and/or support systems to ensure she is addressing the whole picture. As an Indianapolis native, she is passionate about serving the families in this community.
